I’m Lisa Rone, a Brooklyn-born entrepreneur, educator, and marketing strategist with over 20 years of experience in business, leadership, and brand development. Business comes naturally to me, but what fuels me is helping others transform knowledge into income, and dreams into legacy.
My journey wasn’t easy. I worked hard to balance school, work, and family responsibilities, and I quickly realized that education would be the key to changing my circumstances. With persistence and faith, I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Business Administration — while building a career marked by excellence, creativity, and resilience.
Today, I stand on those lessons to guide aspiring entrepreneurs who are ready to go from broke to the bank using business education and digital marketing strategies. My signature platform, the Read A Book MVMT, combines eBooks, eCourses, journals, and motivational resources designed for everyday people who want business education, confidence, and freedom without losing sight of their values.
Over the years, my work has been featured on ESPN, BET, MTV, and Public Access Television, and I proudly serve others in their business initiatives. I’ve also held leadership roles such as Vice President of PR with Toastmasters International — sharpening my ability to inspire audiences, foster growth, and amplify voices that matter.
I’m also the author of multiple books, including Stand Up, Boss Up, and Speak Up — each one part of the Read A Book MVMT collection, available on Kindle. These works reflect my mission: To empower others with tools, strategies, and encouragement to take ownership of their future.

About Me
Hello, my name is Lisa Rone. I love learning, sharing, and teaching on topics related to business education. Business comes naturally to me coupled with exceptional talent. And I have more than 15 years of successful experience in the field of business, leadership and marketing. Besides that, I am a successful MBA Graduate who was born in Brooklyn, New York. Welcome to the Read A Book MVMT.
Things were not comfortable at the start of my work-school life. I always had to work harder to get ahead.
About Education became the key priority throughout my adult life and it made it possible for me to achieve a Bachelors’s and Master’s degree in the field of Business Administration.
Besides that, I also achieved other notable education in the early days of my life. I had the experience of attending the H & R Block Income Tax classes. My fascination for this field, allowed me to learn more about it.
I worked very hard on my terms and made it possible to grow myself from a homegirl to a Teacher. I am recognizable among both the local and international communities.
I’m tremendously determined to help people make possible change for the better. I am a resource and loaded with inspiration for the millions of others who may need it; living across the world.
I have both education and work-related skills as a professional (commonly referred to as expertise). I have a broad knowledge in marketing, branding, and promotion~

Besides that, I also assure my services for being the Vice president of PR with Toastmasters International. Besides that, I am well-known when it comes to commercials, set design for theatrical performances and more.
